We have reviewed all of Ontario’s Public Health guidelines, please take a moment to review our procedures for resuming safely. 

  • Please do not attend lessons if you have a cough, runny nose, chills, fever or any other flu-like symptoms. We have implemented touch-less fever reading upon entry for all teachers and students
  • If you have had a fever or any of the above symptoms, please refrain from attending lessons for at least 24 hours after symptoms are no longer present. Virtual lessons will be available as a substitute on these days.
  • If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for covid-19 please review Ontario Public Health’s recommendations for further guidance.
  • Masks are mandatory for anyone entering the studio (unless exempt) Vocal students may wear a shield rather than a mask
  • Please drop off and pick up students if possible – waiting room capacity of 3 people MAX  (not including students taking lessons) Teachers are happy to come downstairs and pick up your child if necessary
  • Please keep distance while waiting for teachers to come escort you to the lesson room
  • Please show up for your lesson on time (not earlier)
  • Younger students may be accompanied into the teaching room only if necessary by only ONE parent/guardian
  • Please sanitize or wash hands upon arrival at the studio 
  • Rooms and equipment will be sanitized after each lesson
  • Deep cleaning/disinfecting will be done daily
  • Barriers will be placed for vocal lessons and disinfected after each lesson
  • All group classes will be temporarily cancelled until further notice.
  • There will be no woodwind or brass in studio lessons-these will remain virtual for safety reasons
  • Students are required to bring their own instruments (with the exception of piano students of course) this includes drum sticks, guitar picks, method books etc. but please limit what you bring with you to the studio to only what you need for your lesson
  • Waste management will be enforced (NO food, drinks, chewing gum etc) 
  • Credit card or post dated cheques are preferred upon registration. E-transfers will be accepted on the 1st of each month. Cash will be accepted only if necessary.
